Curtains for French doors – French doors are usually double doors opening onto a balcony, patio or garden. They are full of crystal in the center and allow a lot of light in the room. Instead, make your own curtains that fit inside the window and provide privacy without interfering with the mechanisms of the door. Use high-speed cutter bars at the top and bottom to keep the curtain in place. Choose fabric that accentuates the decor of your home.
Measure the width of the window and double the number so you have plenty of space for the curtain rod together in without being pulled strongly. Measure the length and add 3 inches so you have enough space to create a hem. These measures are for each curtains for French doors. You will need two to cover each of the French doors. Hem the sides of the curtains if they are no longer hemline. Double the sides and measure 1 inch down the entire length. Iron the cover for sharp edge and hold it in place. Use pins to hold the lid down and sew the hem using a straight stitch. Remove the pins.

Fold the top of the curtain that measures 1/4 inch folding straight. Iron in place. Fold it back to create a fold 1/2 inches. This is for your rod pocket. Iron back and pin in place with pins. Repeat on the lower side and the second curtains for French doors to create all the hemming and rod pockets.
